This post details Bandcon and their Content Networking service offering. Bandcon uses the load balancing method called switching (refer to my previous blog post Introduction to Choosing Between Multiple CDN’s and CDN Load Balancing for more details on load balancing techniques.)

To provide unequaled access to the best platforms in the industry while offering flexibility, Bandcon has relationships with multiple CDN providers, including Limelight Networks, Level3, Highwinds, Internap, and CDNetworks. Bandcon states they “offer the ultimate in freedom by allowing you to switch CDN providers or select a completely different provider regardless of where you are in the contract”.

To switch CDN providers, Bandcon's customers simply alert Bandcon of their desire to change. Bandcon then manually switches the customer from one provider to another. Customers can also mix and match providers for the best delivery of features and functionality from each provider. This degree of flexibility guarantees that content is delivered without exception, no matter what the service and regardless of the customer's commitment.

In the end, Bandcon’s Content Networking service offers you the capability to switch CDN providers. It uses the manual method - switching, but it offers you great flexibility if you’d like to take the quick and easy step towards using multiple CDN’s.
